Gravita Europe SRL, established in 2024, is part of Gravita Group’s strategic expansion into the European recycling market. The company operates a waste tyre recycling plant located in Izvoare village, Dumbrava Rosie commune, Neamt county, Romania. This facility marks Gravita’s first recycling operation in Europe and is managed through Gravita Netherlands BV, a step-down subsidiary of Gravita India. Gravita Europe SRL focuses on sustainable recycling practices, contributing to the circular economy by recovering and reprocessing waste materials.
Products Offered
Gravita Europe SRL specializes in the recycling of waste tyres. The plant has an approximate capacity of 18,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) for processing scrap tyres into reusable raw materials. This complements Gravita’s global product portfolio, which includes recycled lead and lead alloys, aluminium alloys, plastic granules, and tyre-derived fuel (TDF) / tyre pyrolysis oil, carbon black and raw carbon / carbon char. The company’s operations in Romania enable it to supply recycled tyre materials for various industrial applications, supporting environmental sustainability and resource conservation in Europe.
