Our advanced recycling facility in Zegereni is just 56 km from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. As pioneers in the industry, we are proud to be the first EPZA recycler in Tanzania and the country's first export-oriented metal recycling plant.

Gravita Tanzania promotes sustainability with a diverse range of products. In addition to lead recycling, we have advanced aluminium and rubber recycling facilities. We export high-quality aluminium to India, China, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Our rubber recycling setups reduce dependency on fossil fuels, contributing to a greener future. With a recycling capacity of over 16,000 metric tonnes per year, we are a key player in the region’s recycling industry.

Leveraging cutting-edge technology, we produce high-quality unrefined lead in Tanzania, supplying our Indian plants and exporting to the US and Europe for radiation shielding and construction.
