Gravita's Kathua unit is located in the picturesque district of Jammu, in the northernmost part of India. This plant plays a crucial role in meeting the recycling needs of Indian OEMs in the North & North-East Indian Territory. It benefits from fiscal incentives provided by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, enabling the production of competitive products that exceed industry standards.

The Kathua unit offers integrated recycling facilities with battery dismantling, smelting, and refining operations. It has a total installed capacity of 6,000 MT and produces high-quality lead ingots and lead alloys by recycling lead ore, lead concentrate, and lead battery scrap to meet specific requirements of OEMs.
