The Versatile Applications of Our Lead Sheets
- Medical: Used for radiation shielding in laboratories, hospitals, dental offices, and veterinary clinics, protecting against X-rays and gamma rays.
- Building and construction: Comprising 75% of usage, lead sheets are employed in roofing, flashing, and waterproofing applications.
- Corrosion protection: Lead sheets shield against acids in storage and handling, in autoclaves, and precipitators.
- Other uses: Lead sheets are utilised as movable screens, sound barriers, nuclear energy shielding, tank lining, and vibration absorbers.
