Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA (Marketing) or BE(MBA)
  • 3-5 years (UPS or Battery Industry preferred)
  • Knows Ins & Outs of UPS & Battery Industry
  • Basic knowledge about batteries
  • Highly confident while working with clients from various industries
  • Basic computer knowledge + Exposure + PPT, Excel & documentation
  • Good communication/PR skills

Job Information
  • Production planning and control systems, process and product development, quality management systems, training and development of work force, cost control measures, process and plant up gradation
  • Overall control on productivity, machine setup, consumables, rejection, manpower & day-to-day departmental activity
  • Leading the factory and team to meet the supply chain commitment in the most competitive manner in terms of cost, quality, productivity and delivery
  • Prioritizing production plan in order to satisfy changed customer requirements, non availability of tools / operators / machine, etc.
  • Overall cost and profitability of the plant, ensuring maximum and optimum utilization of plant and equipments.
  • Development and implementation of maintenance practices and procedures which maintain the integrity and total effectiveness of the equipment and facilities.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe plant
  • Training and development of plant supervisory and administrative staff
  • Daily interaction with senior authorities for daily production achievement, management objectives and production planning
  • Ensuring compliance with the ISO 9000, TPM,TQM, 5 S guidelines and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines in all manufacturing / plant operations
  • Scheduling and planning the production process as per the targets
  • Preparing schedules & planning the material / equipment required for commencing and sustaining the production activity.

Desired profile of the candidate

  • BE / B Tech or equivalent
  • Diploma in Engineering in relevant field
  • Excellent man-management skills; productivity and labor management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-development skills
  • Exposure to the shop floor in metal / Similar Industry
